I will stamp all over 'legitimate boxer' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be shown live on the streaming platform.

Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the pair met personally to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.

Ex two-time world boxing king Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on December 19th.

Boxer's Attitude

"I will break his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.

"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my goal."

Civil Exchange

In spite of such comments, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually known for his dramatics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.

Paul instead targeted former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Fury

Joshua, at the same time, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.

"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.

Jake Paul's History

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

However, the novice is still one of boxing's largest money-making draws, regularly earning massive earnings.

Forecast and Belief

The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.

"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.

Physical Difference

As the two fighters engaged in the usual face-off, with their physical disparity on show, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is actually happening.
